Job summary

P2S|CMTA invites motivated Mechanical Engineering students to join our Summer Internship in Long Beach, CA. The program offers hands-on experience with the Mechanical Engineering team, including design, prototyping, testing, documentation, and collaboration on real client projects.

The 10–12 week internship runs in office, Monday–Friday, with opportunities for attending training sessions and professional development. Undergraduate interns start at $24/hour and graduates at $26/hour.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
• Familiarity with Revit and/or AutoCAD is a plus.
• FE/EIT certification is a plus.
• Trained to utilize CAD/BIM standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in the execution of ongoing projects.
• Contribute to design and prototyping activities.
• Support testing and quality assurance of engineering solutions.
• Maintain and generate project documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
• Participate in learning and development sessions to build technical skills.
