Job summary

P2S invites a Summer Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team in Seattle, WA, with opportunities to support project work across office and field settings and contribute to design, prototyping, and testing activities during a 10-12 week program.

You will gain hands-on experience, work with senior engineers, and participate in site visits and internal training opportunities, fostering a strong foundation in practical engineering.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
• Training in Revit and/or AutoCAD is a plus.
• FE/EIT is a plus.
• Trained to utilize CAD/BIM standards
• Ability to work effectively in a highly energetic and multitask environment; detail-oriented

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in the execution of ongoing projects.
• Contribute to the design process by creating and modifying engineering drawings.
• Participate in prototyping activities to test and validate design concepts.

Internship Program

The internship program aims to offer a positive work/training experience aligned with career goals and education level. Interns will be part of the Mechanical Engineering team, gaining hands-on experience in office and field settings and actively contributing to client projects. The program emphasizes real-world industry exposure, including visits to project sites and internal training opportunities, fostering a unique learning experience and encouraging participation in company events.

Schedule

The Summer Internship lasts 10-12 weeks, starting in June and ending in August - September, depending on the candidate's availability.

Responsibilities:

Project Support:

• Assist the engineering team in the execution of ongoing projects.
• Conduct research and analysis to contribute to project development.

Design and Prototyping:

• Contribute to the design process by creating and modifying engineering drawings.
