Job summary

P2S|CMTA invites a motivated Mechanical Engineering student to join our Summer Internship program in Seattle, WA. You will be part of the Mechanical Engineering team, gaining hands-on experience on client projects and site visits.

The 10–12 week program runs June to August, with in-office hours Monday–Friday. Interns work on project support, design and prototyping, testing, documentation, collaboration, and learning opportunities, under guidance from experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
• Training in Revit and/or AutoCAD is a plus.
• FE/EIT is a plus.
• Trained to utilize CAD/BIM standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly energetic and multi-engagement environment; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in the execution of ongoing projects.
• Conduct research and analysis to contribute to project development.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Contribute to the design process by creating and modifying engineering drawings.
• Assist in testing to ensure functionality and reliability; document progress.
