Job summary

P2S Inc. invites electrical engineering students to join its Summer Internship program in Long Beach, CA. You’ll be part of the Electrical Engineering team, gaining hands-on experience in office and field settings while contributing to client projects.

The 10–12 week program runs June to August–September, with on‑site schedule M‑F and hourly pay of $24 for undergrads and $26 for graduates. Prerequisites include current enrollment and CAD/BIM familiarity.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university majoring in Electrical Engineering.
• Training in Revit and/or AutoCAD is a plus
• FE/EIT is a plus
• Trained to utilize CAD/BIM standards
• Ability to work effectively in a highly energetic and multiple‑engagement environment; detail‑oriented

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in the execution of ongoing projects.
• Conduct research and analysis to contribute to project development.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Contribute to design by creating and modifying engineering drawings.
• Participate in prototyping activities to test design concepts.
• Assist in tests to ensure functionality and reliability.
