Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a motivated Manufacturing Test Engineering Intern for May–August 2027 in Hudson, NH. This hands-on role supports test engineering activities on the production floor, helping to improve test processes and contribute to next‑generation test solutions for mission-critical electronic systems.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Design Engineering to troubleshoot issues, document procedures, and support NPI transitions, gaining exposure to test fixtures

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, debug, and validation of automated test procedures for high-speed Processing Modules on the production floor
• Assist in troubleshooting test failures and collaborate with engineering to drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Contribute to manufacturing process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing test yield, throughput, and efficiency
• Help design, build, and qualify test fixtures and equipment used in production test stations
• Analyze test data to identify trends, recurring failures, and opportunities for process optimization
• Create and maintain test documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Design Engineering teams to resolve production issues in real time
• Support new product introduction (NPI) activities by helping transition test processes from engineering to production
• Perform calibration checks and routine maintenance/inventory of manufacturing test equipment
• Provide general engineering support to test engineers and production technicians as needed
