Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineering Intern for onsite work in Hudson, NH, from May to August 2027. The role supports automated test procedures, fault analysis, and process improvements in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.

You will work with production teams to develop and validate test solutions, design test fixtures, and maintain documentation while gaining hands-on experience with high-speed Processing Modules and production test stations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in electrical engineering, computer engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum GPA 3.1; transcripts may be requested during review.
• Familiarity with Python for test automation.
• Basic understanding of electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, logic analyzers).
• Exposure to digital and analog circuit fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Linux development environments and tools.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Git/Bitbucket for version control.
• Familiarity with AI tools to support engineering productivity and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Support development, debugging, and validation of automated test procedures on the production floor.
• Troubleshoot test failures and work with engineering on root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to process improvements to increase test yield, throughput, and efficiency.
• Help design, build, and qualify test fixtures and equipment for production tests.
• Analyze test data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
• Create and maintain test documentation, work instructions, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Design Engineering to resolve issues in real time.
• Assist in transitioning test processes from engineering to production during NPI.
