Job summary

International Paper invites motivated students to join our Summer 2027 Manufacturing Leadership Intern program across Ohio facilities in Delaware, Eaton, Middletown, Mt. Vernon, Streetsboro, and Wooster.

The internship blends hands-on floor work with a leadership-development project over the season. You’ll operate equipment, read factory orders, use shop tools, and document quality and production data while embracing safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a related degree in manufacturing, operations management, engineering, paper science, business or leadership studies.
• Willing to work alternative shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Strong interest in leadership development and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Spend approximately 80% on the manufacturing floor learning operations alongside production teams.
• Complete a leadership-related project and present results at the end of the summer program.
