International Paper is offering a Manufacturing Leadership Intern – Summer 2027 across several Ohio locations. The paid internship provides hands-on experience on the manufacturing floor and leadership development opportunities, with a 80/20 split between operations exposure and leadership projects.

Interns will work on equipment operation, quality documentation, and shop math while collaborating with production teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a related field such as manufacturing, operations management, engineering, paper science, business, or leadership studies.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and read factory orders on the manufacturing floor.
• Use tools such as tape measures and gauges and apply shop math.
• Inspect and stack products and complete quality and administrative documentation.
• Follow established work procedures.
• Contribute to leadership development projects and present outcomes at the end of the summer.
