Job summary

Momentive invites you to join our Digital Workplace Services team as a Summer 2027 IT Intern. You’ll support frontline end-user issues, assist with hardware deployments, and help drive IT projects that enhance productivity across manufacturing sites.

You’ll gain experience with Microsoft 365, AD, and Windows environments while collaborating with IT professionals and business stakeholders to deliver value in a global manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in IT, computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or related field.
• Interest in IT support, networking, systems administration, digital workplace technologies, or infrastructure.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking concepts, and Microsoft technologies.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline support to employees diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Assist with troubleshooting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other workplace tech.
• Support IT projects and initiatives to boost productivity and user experience.
• Partner with IT specialists and site leadership to implement technology solutions.
• Coordinate hardware deployments, workstation setups, software installations, and equipment upgrades.
• Participate in network, infrastructure, and digital workplace support across sites.
• Monitor issues and escalate to specialized IT teams while tracking progress.
• Maintain IT documentation, processes, standards, and compliance.
• Support meeting technologies, collaboration tools, and executive requests as needed.
• Research emerging technologies and suggest improvements for IT services.
• Help identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
• Build strong relationships with end users, delivering responsive support.
