Job summary

Selective Insurance invites college students to join the Ignite Internship program at our Short Hills, NJ corporate office. This 11-week, full-time internship offers hands-on experience in how the MySelective app, Voice of the Customer, and Proactive Communications programs shape digital customer experiences.

You will engage in on-the-job assignments, team projects, and exposure to senior leadership, with a hybrid work model and opportunities to build lasting relationships within Selective.

Qualifications

• Current college student majoring in Computer Science or a related field.
• Rising juniors and seniors preferred.
• High School Diploma required.
• College credit may be earned depending on your institution’s requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support application solutions; provide production support.
• Monitor IT infrastructure, databases, and end-user computing services.
• Identify and escalate cybersecurity risks.
• Ensure adherence to IT standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with team and communicate clearly to support business processes.
• Work cross-functionally on an Action Learning Project.
