Selective Insurance invites you to join the Ignite Internship program for summer 2027 at our Short Hills, NJ corporate office. This 11-week, full-time internship provides a glimpse into the insurance world with on-the-job assignments, team projects, and exposure to senior leadership and a community volunteer day.

You'll join the Customer Experience & Mobility team, contribute to the MySelective mobile app/website and drive digital service improvements, while gaining cross-functional exposure in

Qualifications

• Must be a current college student majoring in Computer Science or a related field (rising juniors and seniors preferred).
• Demonstrates ownership, self-motivation, and ability to execute tasks.
• Shows interest in learning about the insurance industry.
• College credit can be earned depending on institutional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support application solutions, providing production support and managing application operations.
• Monitor and manage IT infrastructure, including tools, databases, and end-user computing services.
• Actively manage and monitor cybersecurity tools and systems, identifying and escalating security risks.
• Ensure adherence to IT standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with team members and leaders to support business processes and resolve issues.
• Work cross-functionally on an Action Learning Project.
