Job summary

Selective Insurance in Short Hills, NJ, is offering an Ignite Internship for summer 2027. This 11-week, full-time program provides a hands-on look into our Customer Experience & Mobility team, with projects across IT, digital services, and collaboration with senior leaders.

You'll gain exposure to on-the-job assignments, cross-functional teamwork, and a community volunteer day, while developing skills in mobile apps, cybersecurity awareness, and IT operations.

Qualifications

• Must be a current college student majoring in Computer Science or related field.
• Rising juniors and seniors preferred.
• Owns work, self-motivated, can execute tasks.
• Interested in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support application solutions; provide production support.
• Monitor IT infrastructure including tools and databases.
• Monitor cybersecurity tools and identify risks.
• Adhere to IT standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with team and communicate to support processes.
• Work cross-functionally on an Action Learning Project.
