BlueCross and BlueShield of South Carolina invites students to join a 12-week summer internship in Columbia, SC, from May 17 to August 6, 2027. The role is on-site, full-time (40 hours/week), with mentors and structured tasks across departments.

You will gain real-world experience, work under supervision, and participate in training, projects, and department activities to learn about healthcare and business operations. Preference for college enrollment and multiple majors is noted.

Responsibilities

• Participate in department training to gain knowledge and skills in your area of study.
• Assist other staff with everyday tasks to understand business operations and workflow.
• Engage in volunteering and networking events to learn about the healthcare insurance industry.
