Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina invites motivated students to join a 12-week summer internship in Columbia. The role includes on-site work Monday–Friday, gaining exposure to department processes, and supporting tasks across documents, databases, and research tools.

You will learn industry best practices under supervision. Qualified candidates are currently pursuing a 4-year degree, with at least 12 semester hours completed, and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in a four-year degree program.
• Minimum 12 semester hours; rising junior or senior.
• Interest in marketing, communications or analytics is a plus.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, GA or Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Training and tasks vary by area within the department.
• Maintain documents, spreadsheets, databases, or related items.
• Use systems and tools to perform research and support projects.
• Participate in department training to gain knowledge and skills.
• Assist in learning business operations and workflows.
