Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Co in Cranberry Township, PA, is seeking a Project Management intern to support project managers and project controllers on a portfolio of projects at our Cranberry facility. This paid full-time hybrid position for the summer, May - August 2027.

You will assist in organizing tasks, documenting meetings, tracking milestones, and coordinating with team members and partners while learning PMI concepts and project management tools.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline such as project management, engineering or business.
• Familiar with PMI’s PMBOK, project management concepts and tools.
• Completed Sophomore year of college.

Responsibilities

• Help organize project tasks, timelines, and deliverables
• Support project documentation including meeting notes, status reports, and action items
• Track progress against project milestones and update project dashboards
• Coordinate communication between team members and partners
• Help identify risks and issues and escalate them to the project manager
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions
• Maintain project files and ensure version control of important documents
• Learn and apply project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• Support project processes following Westinghouse Project Management Requirements (WPMR)

About The Role

As a Project Management intern, you will assist the project managers and project controllers on the portfolio of projects. You will report to the Global Fuels Engineering Operations Manager and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer, May - August 2027.
