Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Project Management intern for the Cranberry Township facility. This paid full-time hybrid summer internship runs May through August 2027 and supports project managers and controllers on a portfolio of projects.

You will report to the Global Fuels Engineering Operations Manager, assist with tasks, documentation, dashboards, and risk tracking, and gain exposure to Agile and Waterfall methodologies in a real-world setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, business, or related technical discipline.
• Completed Sophomore year of college.
• Familiar with PMI's Project Management Body of Knowledge, project management concepts, and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Help organize project tasks, timelines, and deliverables
• Support project documentation including meeting notes, status reports, and action items
• Track progress against project milestones and update project dashboards
• Coordinate communication between team members and partners
• Help identify risks and issues and escalates them to the project manager
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions
• Maintain project files and ensure version control of important documents
• Learn and apply project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• Support project processes following Westinghouse Project Management Requirements (WPMR)

About the role:
