Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis invites undergraduate students to join our 2027 summer intern cohort. You’ll be matched with a department and perform meaningful work to support our mission, participate in workshops, and build your professional network.

The 12-week internship runs May 24, 2027 to August 13, 2027 with on-site work at 40 hours per week and compensation at $23 per hour. Applications open November 1, 2026 and close January 3, 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree and must be enrolled when applying.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with standard office software and willingness to learn new tools.
• Effective interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrate values such as Service, Integrity, Inclusion, Initiative, Accountability, and Objectivity.
• Some positions require U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Support operational, administrative, and engagement functions across business areas.
• Assist with event planning and staff engagement activities.
• Coordinate conferences and cross-department gatherings.
• Contribute to procurement and contract review processes.
• Help with records management and data cleanup projects.
• Provide general administrative and operational support.
