Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc. invites students to join its 10-week paid Summer College Internship, running June to August (up to 40 hours per week).

Interns work on meaningful projects, are mentored by their managers, and attend development workshops focused on key business concepts. Interns may pursue tracks in Business Administration, IT, Analytics & Data, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Project Management, and more, in both technical and non-technical areas.

Qualifications

• Majors include Public Health, Health Education or Promotion, Exercise Science, Nutrition, Social Work, Health & Society or similar programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences.
• High school diploma with proof of continuous college enrollment and good academic standing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Wellbeing Team to enhance resources for commercial customers, including groups, brokers and members.
• Work with a mentor and support key strategic projects.
• Complete work assignments based on business needs and priorities.
• Deliver presentations at internship completion.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in line with company policies.
