Interns gain hands‑on experience, work on meaningful projects, and are mentored by their managers while attending development workshops focused on key business concepts. Interns may work in various tracks and complete projects that support healthcare affordability, quality, and data‑driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a full‑time undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Interest in using data to solve real‑world healthcare business problems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic reporting.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and SQL/SAS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Extract, validate, and analyze healthcare data (claims, enrollment, provider, quality).
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses for leadership and operations.
• Perform data quality reviews to identify anomalies and opportunities for improvement.
• Document business requirements, data definitions, and analytical methodologies.
• Translate complex findings into clear, actionable summaries for stakeholders.
