Job summary

Chadwick School in Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA is seeking a Summer Extended Daycare Manager to oversee the before and after camp programs during a 5-week session. This role manages the Extended Day team, drop-in billing, and daily supervision of students.

You will plan activities, coordinate communications with parents, monitor schedules, and ensure safety and positive behavior. On-site hours are 7:30am–9:00am and 3:00pm–5:30pm, Monday through Friday, with collaboration across the Summer Programs

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required.
• Some college or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Extended Day hours (7:30am-9:00am & 3:00pm-5:30pm) during the 5‑week Classic Camp term.
• Plan Extended Day activities and communications for participants.
• Communicate with parents about Extended Day plans, policies and emergencies.
• Manage supplies, budget, and billing for drop-in students; supervise staff and timesheets.
