Johns Manville Corp - Berkshire Hathaway in Spartanburg, SC is seeking an Engineering Intern for the 2027 summer internship. This full-time, on-site role runs from mid‑May to early August and offers hands-on engineering and business experience across operations.

You will work on product development projects, support process technology development, and help optimize manufacturing processes while delivering a final presentation to senior leadership at JM’s HQ in Denver.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. in Engineering (Chemical or Industrial preferred).
• Completed at least sophomore year of undergrad coursework and enrolled for the coming semester.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Participate in the execution of product development projects.
• Provide project status and laboratory reports as required.
• Support development of Process Technology and assist Nonwovens team with technical solutions.
• Analyze and develop distribution improvements in the Warehouse.
• Collaborate with engineers to track, analyze and determine root causes of issues.
