Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking engineering students for its 2027 Summer Internship Program based in Richland, MS. The internship runs mid‑May through early August, with interns working full time during the summer and presenting their work to senior leadership at the Denver, Colorado headquarters.

The program offers hands‑on engineering and business experience, challenging assignments, and opportunities to contribute to innovation and growth across JM operations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. degree in Engineering and enrolled for the upcoming semester.
• Completed at least sophomore year of undergrad coursework.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the execution of product development projects.
• Own a high-value manufacturing problem from definition through implementation using plant data and disciplined experimentation.
• Translate technical findings into business impact by prioritizing losses and quantifying benefits.
• Apply engineering analysis, statistics, root-cause problem solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
