Job summary

Phillips Medisize, a Molex/Koch Company, seeks Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) interns for Summer 2027 at multiple Wisconsin locations. The 12-week program runs late May to mid-August 2026. Applicants should be pursuing a related degree and be eligible for full-time employment by Summer 2029.

The internship offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to on-site safety activities within a collaborative team culture focused on innovation and meaningful work.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Stewardship, Risk Control, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering related degree program.
• Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2029.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Involvement with on-site safety committee activities, gaining exposure to lockout-tagout, machine guarding, assisting with on-site hazardous waste program.
• Maintain/update injury prevention plan & workplace violence prevention plan.
• Assist with overall environmental functions for the assigned facility and partners with onsite management and other resources to ensure local program ownership and accountability.
• Provide support of safety initiatives at a designated facility with guidance from local safety, health and environmental management/personnel. To include: incident investigations and reporting, safety audits, process and/or procedure writing.
