URBN is seeking a paid Summer Internship in the Home Buying team for decor and gifting enthusiasts. The intern will present trend insights, manage brand samples, and assist with seasonal assortment selections.

Qualifications

• Requires merchandising or related field; retail experience preferred.
• Passion for trending home decor items and giftables.
• Digital/social media awareness with brand storytelling.
• Experience with Google and Microsoft programs.
• Urban Outfitters customer focus and social media immersion.

Responsibilities

• Research and present emerging macro-trends and forward‑thinking brand concepts.
• Support end‑to‑end sample handoff and track shoot priorities across studios, merchandising and marketing.
• Maintain organization of the sample closet and inbound inventory.
• Monitor viral content and cultural moments; translate into promotional strategies.
• Curate picture packs to support presentations and executive alignments.
• Conduct weekly market research on pricing and product shifts to inform buying decisions.
• Propose digital improvements to elevate the online customer journey.
