Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants is NOW HIRING for Summer Culinary BOH Internship Opportunities in the Chicago Suburbs. Qualifications

• 1 year of practical experience OR current enrollment in a culinary program
• Experience with Italian or French cuisine is a big plus

Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly seminars, management checklists, and summer festival activities
• Perform tasks in hourly roles (host, server, runner, busser, cook) at designated restaurant locations
• Safely operate tools and equipment used in kitchen settings
• Work varied shifts including weekends and nights
• Communicate effectively in written and spoken directions
• Multitask calmly in a busy, high-pressure environment
• Move and lift up to 50 pounds as required
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines and the Employee Handbook
• Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional guest service
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a superior guest experience
• Contribute to internship group project and Expo presentation
