Job summary

Trane Technologies plc invites students to join a 12-week Construction Project Manager Internship. You will work with our North America team to plan, manage, and execute projects, gaining exposure to budgeting, RFQs, and subcontractor coordination.

This paid internship develops leadership, technical skills, and practical experience in energy‑efficient building projects. Eligible candidates are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program, with a focus on Construction Engineering, Building

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the entire summer internship.
• Pref erred majors include Construction Engineering, Building Management, Construction Management, HVAC, Engineering.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• This posting covers multiple opportunities; some roles may be remote, hybrid, or onsite.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate assigned projects, establish schedules, parameters, and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support programming and material selection.
• Assist in budgeting for projects and monitor forecasted cost to completion.
• Prepare sub-contractor RFQs, scopes, milestone dates, and bonding requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and owners on scope, budgets, performance, and close-out.
