Job summary

HITT Contracting invites ambitious students to join the 2027 Commercial Construction Intern - Summer program. You will work with project managers and superintendents on real projects, gaining hands-on experience in construction management.

This 10-week internship (5/24/2027–8/5/2027) includes mentorship, software training (Procore, BlueBeam, MS Office), site exposure, and networking plus a competitive hourly wage of $20–$22.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in construction, engineering, or business.
• Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week for the 10-week program.
• Experience or interest in construction management and general contracting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support project delivery alongside project managers and superintendents.
• Assist with subcontractor coordination, material tracking, and file management.
• Contribute to document control processes (submittals, RFIs, change orders).
• Aid in bid package preparation and subcontractor bid evaluation.
• Support progress reporting and client communications.
