Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is offering a Commercial Construction Intern position for Summer 2027 in Seattle as part of the HITT Futures Program.

The internship provides hands-on exposure to construction management, mentorship, and networking, with a 10-week immersive schedule. Participants will gain experience with project delivery, subcontractor coordination, documentation control, and bid processes, while developing skills in software tools like Procore, BlueBeam, and Office 365, and benefiting

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in construction, engineering, or business.
• Previous industry internship, volunteer work, or work experiences is a plus.
• Ability to work ~40 hours per week for 10-week program.
• Familiarity with project software including Procore, BlueBeam, and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Support project delivery alongside project managers and superintendents.
• Assist with subcontractors, material tracking, and file management.
• Contribute to document control: submittals, RFIs, change orders.
• Assist in bid packages preparation and subcontractor bids evaluation.
• Aid in progress reporting and client communication.
• Support jobsite reviews, site conditions, trades coordination, and safety/quality efforts.
