Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. invites students to join our Summer 2027 Futures Internship, a 10-week program designed to launch careers in construction management.

You will work with project managers and superintendents, supporting delivery, coordination, and documentation while gaining hands-on experience and professional development. The program emphasizes mentorship, networking events, and software training, including Procore, Adobe, and BlueBeam, with exposure to bid packages and safety and quality

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in construction, engineering, or business.
• Previous internship, volunteer work, or related experience is a plus.
• Ability to work ~40 hours per week for the 10-week program.

Responsibilities

• Support various aspects of project delivery alongside project managers and superintendents.
• Assist with subcontractors, supplier coordination, material tracking, and file management.
• Contribute to document control, drafting submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Assist with bid packages and evaluating subcontractor bids.
• Aid in progress reporting and client communications.
• Support jobsite activities like reviewing drawings, site conditions, coordinating trades, and safety/quality control.
