Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc is offering a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program starting in June. Interns work up to 40 hours per week and participate in development workshops across business, IT, analytics, and more. Mentored assignments provide real-world exposure and opportunities to present completed work at internship end.

Housing is not provided. Interns may work in technical or non-technical tracks and gain insight into affiliate operations like MedAmerica and LBS

Qualifications

• Pursuing Social Sciences or similar programs.
• Maintain good academic standing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the LAMA Team by gaining a full picture of MedAmerica and LBS affiliates.
• Perform regulatory research and prepare state filings.
• Maintain corporate records and review policies/procedures.
• Complete work assignments based on business needs and priorities.
• Create and deliver presentations at internship completion.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect member privacy.
• Regular attendance and other duties as assigned by management.
