Job summary

Superior Construction is seeking Project Engineer Interns for the Summer 2027 Internship Program. You will support the project management team on heavy civil and highway projects, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, tracking materials, managing files, submittals, RFIs, and change orders, and preparing progress reports.

You will learn and perform project management tasks including estimating, scheduling, project controls, and reporting while studying construction plans.

Qualifications

• Working towards a bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, or other relevant fields of study.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter before participation in the internship program.

Responsibilities

• Support the project management team with subcontractor and supplier coordination, material tracking, file management, document control (submittals, RFIs, and change orders), and progress reporting.
• Learn and perform project management functions of estimating, schedule planning, project controls, and project reporting.
• Understanding and learning construction plans.
• Ability to interact with clients, managers, and employees with a high level of professionalism.
