Job summary

Superior Construction is seeking a Project Engineer Intern for its Summer 2027 Internship Program in Crystal River, Florida. You will support the project management team, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, track materials, manage documents, and report progress to help complete projects safely and profitably.

You will learn estimating, schedule planning, and project controls while reviewing construction plans and interacting with clients and staff in a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class in the semester before participation.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Support the project management team with subcontractor and supplier coordination.
• Material tracking and document control (submittals, RFIs, change orders).
• Progress reporting and schedule planning.
• Learn estimating, project controls, and project reporting.
• Understand and review construction plans.
• Interact with clients and team professionally.
