Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead kitchen staff, oversee all prep and production for a designated day part, and manage allergen safety at a fast-paced summer camp. This is an on-site, live-in role during the May–Sept season.

The position requires 2+ years in a kitchen leadership role, ServSafe Allergens certification, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, rustic camp setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification is required before start date.
• Strong leadership, ability to work in a high-volume environment, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee all prep and production for designated day part; ensure on-time meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards in line with health codes.
• Administer inventory management and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
