Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking a Food Service Operations Director to lead and manage daily culinary and service operations at our rustic, on-site summer camps across the United States. This hands-on role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and allergen safety oversight to ensure high-quality, scratch-cooked meals in a fast-paced environment.

The position is seasonal (May–Sept), live-in, with full room & board, travel allowance, and opportunity to coach a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification required; Allergens certification preferred before start date.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to live on-site in a rustic setting and work 6 days/70 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead FOH and kitchen staff; schedule, train, and motivate team.
• Oversee culinary operations: scratch cooking, portion control, menu specs, and on-time service.
• Strict allergen safety compliance and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between campers, camp leadership, Wolfoods corporate office.
