Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking a Food Service Operations Director to lead daily culinary and service operations at our rural summer camps across the US. This on-site, live-in role requires hands-on leadership, staff scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring all allergen safety protocols are followed.

You will manage FOH and kitchen teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, coordinate with camp leadership, maintain quality standards, and drive operational excellence during the May–Sept season.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification required; ServSafe Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train Front of House (FOH) and kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking execution, and timely meal service.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols and maintain Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place food orders, control budgets, and track daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
