• Pay rate: $10/hr.
• Anticipated Start Date: May 10, 2027
• End Date: August 18, 2027

Position Summary:

As a successful Business Operations Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with the business operations side of summer weeklong tournament operations at the Ripken Experience in Pigeon Forge, TN. This is a paid internship; we will work with your college/university for you to receive college credit towards your graduation.

Key Responsibilities:

Work directly with Tournament Coordinators to prepare team rosters, welcome packets, and necessary paperwork before each tournament.

Coordinate team gift distribution and assist full-time staff with weekly inventory counts.

Collaborate with full-time staff to ensure the successful execution of all week-long tournaments.

Provide support to the Food and Beverage Manager, Facilities Manager, and Retail Coordinator as needed.

Work directly with Tournament Coordinators to communicate letters and entry of Player of the Game following the conclusion of each game.

Collaborate with Hospitality Interns and Team Coordinators to ensure the completion of engravings of items submitted.

Thrive in a fast-paced environment, particularly on Sundays during team check-in, opening ceremonies, and skills competitions.

Maintain a high level of professionalism while delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

Foster a positive, collaborative environment when working with peers and full-time staff.

Apply training effectively and demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic in upholding the values and standards of the Ripken brand.
