Job summary

Bridgewater Bank invites a motivated student to join its 2027 Summer Internship Program with the Corporate Accounting team. The role blends real-world accounting tasks with meaningful project work, providing exposure to procedures from AP to month-end close.

You will interact with leadership and present progress to peers and senior teams. Ideal candidates are Juniors/Seniors pursuing a 4-year degree, authorized to work in the US, and possess strong communication, analytical, and organizational

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a 4-year bachelor’s degree program.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Analytical and critical thinking; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to deliver to diverse audiences.
• Organizational ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Bridgewater employees on innovative initiatives aligned with our vision.
• Participate in departmental meetings to gain insight into strategic decision-making.
• Lead individual projects and present your work to the Intern Cohort and leadership teams.
• Assist with accounts payable vendor maintenance and set-up as needed.
• Assist with the processing of accounts payable invoices.
• Assist month-end close process, including general ledger analysis.
