Qualifications

• The applicant must have completed a year of law school.
• Applicant must be enrolled as a part-time/full-time student at the time they apply.
• By the start of the internship, the student should have completed one year (nine months) of their chosen program.

Responsibilities

• The Administrative Law Internship provides hands-on experience in the administrative hearing process, legal research, and public-sector decision making.
• The Office of the Hearing Examiner (OHE) summer intern will assist with legal writing, research, and filings for the Office of Hearing Examiners.
• The intern will attend administrative and motions hearings and review motions, briefs, and files for writing decisions for the ALJs.
