Job summary

South Dakota State Government through the Office of the Attorney General seeks a Summer Intern - Paralegal in Pierre. The intern will assist with pleadings review, data entry, and legal support tasks under supervision.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a part-time/full-time student at time of application.
• Must have completed one year (nine months) of their program by internship start.

Responsibilities

• Review pleadings and perform data entry.
• Establish tickler dates and close civil forfeiture files.
• Enter disposition and closure information into the database.
• Compile information for service procedures and receipt affidavits of service.
• File documents and collaborate with paralegals and assisting attorneys.
