Highmark Inc. is offering a Summer 2027 Reimbursement Analyst Undergraduate Internship to gain hands-on experience in data operations, reimbursement processes, and business analysis within the PPRO team.

The program provides exposure to master data management, analytics, process improvement, and healthcare administration, with mentorship and cross-functional collaboration across data professionals and leaders.

Qualifications

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, MIS, Healthcare Administration, Computer Information Technology, or related field.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. independently; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients to plan assignments and resolve day-to-day operational problems.
• Under supervision, provide entry-level professional services aligned with daily objectives; receives guidance from senior personnel.
• Undertake and/or participate in projects and programs to develop professional skills and expertise.
• Participate in planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise.
• Conduct research and reporting inclusive of recommendations or proposals for action.
• Undertake related studies or enrichment programs as appropriate to the operating unit.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Education

Enrollment in accredited college/university baccalaureate program
