Highmark Inc. is offering a Summer 2027 Reimbursement Analyst Undergraduate Internship to help students gain practical experience supporting data operations, reimbursement processes, and business analysis within the PPRO team.

Interns will work with data professionals and leaders to ensure efficient data flows across systems, with hands-on training in healthcare reimbursement operations, master data management, analytics, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Full or part‑time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to plan assignments and resolve day‑to‑day operational problems.
• Under supervision, provide entry‑level professional services aligned with daily objectives, with guidance from senior staff.
• Participate in projects to develop professional skills and expertise for the organization.
• Assist in planning and implementing unit projects and initiatives within your area.
• Conduct research and reporting with recommendations or proposals for action when requested.
• Engage in related studies or enrichment programs aligned with unit objectives.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
