Highmark Inc. is offering the Summer 2027 Reimbursement Analyst Undergraduate Internship to gain hands-on experience in data operations, reimbursement processes, and business analysis within the PPRO team.

Interns will help with master data infrastructure, data analysis, and process improvements under mentorship. The program emphasizes exposure to reimbursement operations, healthcare data management, and cross-functional collaboration, preparing participants for analytical careers in healthcare

Qualifications

Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
Preferred: pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems or MIS.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to plan assignments and resolve day-to-day issues.
Under supervision, provide entry-level professional services aligned with daily objectives.
Participate in projects to develop professional skills and expertise.
Support planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise.
Conduct research and reporting with recommendations or action proposals.
Engage in related studies or enrichment programs for the operating unit.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
