Job summary

Watts Water Technologies is seeking a network-focused IT intern to support configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring of enterprise networking systems. The role offers hands-on learning within a collaborative IT team and exposure to cross-functional projects.

The internship, based in Andover, MA, is hybrid, requiring in-office presence three days a week with two remote days. You will gain practical experience while contributing to reliable infrastructure and day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Current student (sophomore or junior).
• Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must pass background checks and pre-employment testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring and maintaining network hardware and software.
• Support troubleshooting of network connectivity issues.
• Monitor network performance and report anomalies.
• Document network configurations and processes.
• Collaborate with the IT team on projects and daily operations.
• Demonstrate accountability by maintaining accurate documentation and following through on assigned network support tasks.
• Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Sr. Manager, Workplace Collaboration & End User Enablement or Company management.
