DP World is seeking a Network Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 cohort in Charlotte, NC. You will gain hands-on experience managing and optimizing our network infrastructure within a hybrid on-site/remote setup.

Responsibilities include configuring devices, monitoring performance, and supporting security configurations, with mentorship from seasoned IT professionals. The program runs 10 weeks from May 31 to June 6, with a focus on practical, real-world IT operations.

Qualifications

• Rising senior pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with GPA 3.0+ as of Summer 2027.
• Basic networking fundamentals like routing, switching, and protocols.
• Exposure to Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Velocloud SD-WAN is a plus.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail; good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up, configuring, and maintaining network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, APs).
• Monitor network performance and help resolve issues for optimal connectivity and security.
• Support network updates, patches, and security configurations; assist documentation and diagrams.
