Job summary

Notre Dame in Pennsylvania is seeking an ambitious undergraduate intern to analyze material flow across a multi-building distribution network and contribute to efficiency improvements. You will gain exposure to project planning, vendor coordination, and data-driven inventory optimization within the existing facility footprint.

You will work closely with operations teams to identify bottlenecks, drive continuous improvement, and present findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate enrolled full-time in Business Management or Process Engineering or related field
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt to changes
• Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint; data analysis is a plus
• Authorized to work full-time in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by collecting and analyzing operational data to support decision-making and process optimization
• Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, warehouse, and logistics teams to enhance material movement, storage utilization, and operational effectiveness

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Partner with operations teams to understand daily workflows, identify process bottlenecks, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, and operational flow.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by collecting and analyzing operational data to support decision-making and process optimization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, warehouse, and logistics teams to enhance material movement, storage utilization, and operational effectiveness.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Undergraduate currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university, majoring in Business Management, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize requests, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills including listening, written, and verbal abilities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, be independently driven, and adapt to changes.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to use advanced tools for data analysis and process improvement is a plus.
• Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Compensation & Benefits

• $31.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
• $2,500 sign-on bonus paid within the first 30 days of employment.
