Job summary

Hydrite in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Technical Service Intern to gain hands-on experience in the food and beverage industry. The internship runs June through August, on-site with Dairy and Food Customers, 40 hours per week.

You will support sanitation projects and learn how to deliver practical solutions that improve quality and productivity. Responsibilities include CIP validations, wash-cycle analysis, and preparing detailed service reports.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in accredited university pursuing a BS degree.
• Strong computer skills with PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Must be a self-starter with good communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills preferred.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CIP validations at food/dairy facilities.
• Analyze wash cycles and suggest time, cost, water and chemical savings.
• Prepare written service/usage reports for customers/managers.
• Identify continuous profit-improvement opportunities for customers.
• Provide timely analysis for daily/weekly/monthly projects.
• Maintain Hydrite’s standards and professional culture.
• Report outcomes of training projects and demonstrations to leadership.
