Job summary

Axiom Space is seeking a Suits Verification and Validation Engineer to lead major testing campaigns for the AxEVA system at our Gemini facility. This onsite role reports to the EVA Systems Engineering and Integration Manager and requires hands-on V&V leadership.

The ideal candidate has 9+ years in engineering with 3+ years in Testing/V&V, experience with NASA human spaceflight programs, and strong written/presentational skills. Space suit experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 9+ years engineering experience with minimum 3 years in Testing, V&V or equivalent
• Experience with full verification lifecycle from concept to close-out
• Experience with NASA human spaceflight programs desired; space suits preferred
• Excellent written and presentation skills for senior audiences

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement spacesuit verification and validation activities
• Define verification approaches and requirements across system, subsystem, and components
• Coordinate verification activities with suppliers and cross-functional teams
• Prepare test plans, closures, and evidences to close-out requirements
• Collaborate with spacesuit engineers, program office personnel, and customers for V&V planning and execution
• Capture evidence from completed verification activities to support closure notices
