Job summary

Axiom Space is seeking a resilient Principal Systems Engineer to lead major testing campaigns for the AxEVA System. This on-site role reports to the SE&I Manager in Webster, Texas.

You will own end-to-end systems engineering for EVA systems, coordinate verification, and drive validation activities with cross-functional teams and external partners. A strong track record in fast-paced environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (aerospace, electrical, mechanical, or related).
• 10+ years of experience in System Engineering and Integration.
• Track record of delivering in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Strong judgment to proactively solve problems and deliver quality results.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end systems engineering for Axiom EVA Systems including suits, ground and training equipment.
• Define concepts of operations, interfaces, and requirements.
• Coordinate verification and validation activities and test plans.
• Manage system and subsystem architecture definition and performance assessments.
• Collaborate with engineers, program office personnel, and customers on SE&I planning and execution.
• Communicate progress and milestones across teams.
