Job summary

Delaware North at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York is seeking a part-time Suite Runner to respond quickly to guest needs within the suites. As a Suite Runner, you will coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and maintain knowledge of all menu items and ingredients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a runner or busser.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take note of relevant information during pre-shift briefing, including service scheduling and guest notes.
• Coordinate with chef and kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and preparations.
• Assist kitchen with the presentation of courses, explaining any relevant missing menu items.
• Verify kitchen and dining room cleanliness at all times and assist in counting china, glass, silver, and linen.

The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring part-time Suite Runners to join our team at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. As a Suite Runner, you will be responsible for quickly responding to changing needs within the suites.

Please note this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay

$14.00 – $14.00 / hour
