Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking a seasonal Food Runner at Nu Stadium in Miami, Florida. The role involves expediting food from kitchen to guests and supporting servers to ensure quick service. Training and mentorship opportunities are available as part of a leading hospitality company.

This is a tipped position with a $17.00 hourly minimum and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible team members, including weekly pay and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience or training as a Runner or Busser with similar dining style, capacity and volume preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-shift briefing and note important service information.
• Collaborate with Chef, kitchen team, and servers to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food; assist with presentation of courses.
• Complete any required table-side service which may include taking and delivering orders and explaining the menu to guests.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and preparations; identify items by appearance.
• Maintain kitchen and club cleanliness and organization.

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Food Runners to join our team at Nu Stadium in Miami, Florida. As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for expediting food from the kitchen to our guests as quickly as possible.

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay

$17.00 – $17.00 / hour

Physical requirements

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions; may include walking up and down stairs
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds for set-up, service, and clean-up
• Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
• Visual acuity and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks
